Our day services and outpatient care services are mainly based in the John Cheverton Centre, at Mountbatten Hospice in Newport. This is bright and airy, purpose-built centre - which is open to the public - offers a relaxing environment and a warm welcome.
You might visit the John Cheverton Centre for your first appointment with a Mountbatten Nurse to assess the care you need, or you might be coming to one of our clinics, led by Mountbatten nursing and medical staff. It is also the place where most of our counselling sessions take place, in one of our quiet side rooms.
The building is also the location for our many groups and activities, which are either open to both the public and patients, or just to our patients by referral.
