Mountbatten's Isle of Wight cafe at the John Cheverton Centre

Our popular Isle of Wight cafe — which is open to everyone, from people we care for, and their families and friends, to passers-by — serves up Sunday lunches, afternoon teas, freshly-made cakes, drinks, hot and cold food, and snacks.

With access to our award-winning garden, alongside a welcoming indoor space, our spacious cafe is lovely place to relax.

Find it at the John Cheverton Centre, on Halberry Lane, Newport (off Fairlee Road).

We can host events and groups. This is a dog-friendly space.


When is Mountbatten's popular Isle of Wight cafe open?

  • Monday to Friday: 8am to 4pm
  • Saturdays 10am to 4pm
  • Alternate Sundays: 10am to 4pm
