Our 16-bed inpatient unit in our hospice building in Halberry Lane, Newport, provides expert, 24/7 care for people with complex or urgent needs that cannot be managed at home. Patients are typically admitted for short stays, and many return home after their symptoms have been brought under control.
Mountbatten Isle of Wight's dedicated team is here to ensure you and your loved ones feel supported, comfortable, and cared for throughout your time with us.
Our inpatient care is free, thanks to the kindness of our Island community, who so generously help fund around two-thirds of the £10.5 million a year it costs to run all our services, including the inpatient unit. Click HERE to find out more.
Getting the care you deserve is simple and completely free. Ask your GP or healthcare professional to refer you to Mountbatten's Coordination Centre. Click HERE to find out more.
