Family members and friends are welcome to visit patients on Mountbatten Isle of Wight's inpatient unit on any day, at any time.

The main reception is located on the left as you arrive on site. Staff are available 24/7 to guide you to the inpatient unit or other facilities, including the quiet room and family room for visitors.

We provide several spaces for visitors on Mountbatten Isle of Wight's inpatient unit:

  • A quiet room, perfect for moments of reflection or conversation.
  • A family and friends room, equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities.

Children are always welcome to visit but must be supervised at all times. We have a children’s outdoor play area, play boxes, and games consoles to help keep them entertained during their visit.

Your pet is also welcome to visit you as we understand how comforting their presence can be.
