Mountbatten Isle of Wight's annual iconic fundraising event, Walk the Wight, only takes place thanks to the efforts of scores of volunteers — and 2026 will be no different.

Volunteers take part as route marshals and stallholders, and they help make sure information and t-shirts are handed out to the many thousands of walkers.
