An Isle of Wight film-maker has launched a fundraiser for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, days after filming chef, Robert Thompson MBE, dishing up Christmas dinner for hospice staff.

On 10 December, together with his team, the Michelin-starred owner of the Island's RT Cafe Grill and Thompsons served up roasted jambonneau of chicken, spanakopita and Granny Smith apple posset, using the hospice's John Cheverton Centre cafe as his kitchen for the day.

Also paying a visit was award-winning film-maker Reuben Mowle, who made a film about the special meal.

Reuben has also launched a fundraising page, through JustGiving.

It is in support of "Mountbatten, which does extraordinary work for people and families on the Isle of Wight".
