Stolen Goat and Mountbatten Isle of Wight partnership creates bespoke new cycling kit for Randonnee 2026

A partnership with a premium cycling apparel specialist has led to a new range of merchandise.

A bespoke new cycling jersey, a t-shirt, a cycling cap and a bandido are all on sale, raising funds ahead of the 2026 Isle of Wight Randonnee, in aid of hospice charity, Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

On Sunday 6 September, scores of participants will cycle over 100km clockwise around the Island, incorporating a climb of around 1,500 metres.

Together, Stolen Goat and Mountbatten Isle of Wight are delighted to reveal an exciting range of cycling wear, featuring bands of orange, yellow and black, and Mountbatten’s signature sunflower.

Your entry fee to cycle the Isle of Wight Randonnee with Mountbatten is £15, which includes a medal on completion.

This helps pay to stage the event, while your sponsorship directly supports the Island’s only hospice, and ensures expert and compassionate 24/7 care, for people dealing with death, dying and bereavement.

Formerly run by The Wayfarer Cycle Touring Club and proudly not a race, the Isle of Wight Randonnee has been a staple of the cycling year since 1985. For 2026, Mountbatten was asked to run Randonnee, amid fears it would otherwise have to end.

This year's event incorporates the much-loved check points, operated by Freshwater and Yarmouth CE Primary, Wootton Primary, Bembridge Primary, Alverstone WI and Ventnor Rugy Club. Donations gathered at these checkpoints will be retained by the schools and organisations that run them.
