Ryde and District Round Table is back, with the popular Isle of Wight Santa Dash — for the second year in a row.

The event raises money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group and you are invited to sign up and take part!

On Sunday, 7 December, hundreds of Santas will gather on Ryde seafront, setting off at 11am.

They will take on one of two different routes:

  • 5km for the seasoned runners
  • 2km for a family friendly/dog friendly option

Mike Palin, event organiser and Ryde & District Round Table member said: “We can’t wait to see our community come together again this December, to don a Santa suit and have some festive fun with their friends and loved ones, whilst providing the crucial fundraising for our local charities.

"There’s certainly a buzz around the event this year, so we encourage those wishing to participate to get their tickets early, so as not to miss out.

"We would also like to recognise the fantastic supporters, without whom the event simply wouldn’t run."

They thanked Go Internet, St James Clinic, Ryde Superbowl, Isle of Wight Cocktail Co., Vectis Medical, Snap Fitness and isleofwight. com, among others.
