We are delighted to say the Mountbatten Isle of Wight film, ‘The Letter,’ has been named as a finalist in the 2026 Smiley Charity Film Awards.

The short, made in collaboration with Isle of Wight-based NOSY Agency, will now contend for a bronze, silver or gold award.

An expert judging panel will decide the category winners, with the People’s Choice Awards - determined entirely by public vote - also being announced during the ceremony, in London on 26 March.

This achievement follows 2025's outstanding success, when Mountbatten Isle of Wight celebrated a double win at the Smiley Awards.

The Letter was created to shine a light on the compassion, dignity and humanity at the heart of the care Mountbatten Isle of Wight provides every day. Reaching the finals is a tribute to everyone who shared, voted, supported, or connected with the film’s message.
