Hundreds gathered for the Mountbatten Isle of Wight annual carol service, on 18 December, 2024, at All Saints' Church in Ryde.

Pupils from Ryde School, Christ the King and Oakfield Primary joined Mountbatten CEO, Nigel Hartley, MBE, Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight, Mrs Susie Sheldon, Isle of Wight High Sheriff, Graham Biss and Mountbatten trustees, Wendy Murwill and Kate Collins DL for the festive event.

The Mountbatten Isle of Wight choir also performed in the impressive surroundings of the landmark church, at a service led by our charity's spiritual lead, Vickie Morgan.

There was a mix of carols, including Once in Royal David's City and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing; plus festive favourites, Ding Dong, Little Donkey and Mary, did you know? were performed by the school children.

Mountbatten's catering team provided a huge spread of mince pies, and mulled wine was on hand, after the ceremony.
