News & events News Light up a Life with Mountbatten Isle of Wight this Christmas 2025 This Christmas, Mountbatten Isle of Wight invites you to remember and celebrate loved ones by dedicating a light on our remembrance tree. Dedicating a light is simple. From Saturday, 1 November, donate and dedicate a light on our website. Your loved one’s light will shine on our remembrance tree and be added to the virtual tree, with their name displayed during the Light up a Life event at Mountbatten Isle of Wight on Sunday, 7 December at 4pm. It was Mountbatten’s bereavement support that got me back on my feet and helped me feel less lonely. “That’s why, this Christmas, I’m dedicating a light on Mountbatten’s remembrance tree to my Nikki and Jan, and donating to give back to the charity that has given me and my family so much love and care.” "I’m dedicating a light on Mountbatten’s remembrance tree to my Nikki and Janet, and donating to give back to the charity that has given me and my family so much love and care." — Brian Rayner.
