This Christmas, Mountbatten Isle of Wight invites you to remember and celebrate loved ones by dedicating a light on our remembrance tree.

Dedicating a light is simple.

From Saturday, 1 November, donate and dedicate a light on our website.

Your loved one’s light will shine on our remembrance tree and be added to the virtual tree, with their name displayed during the Light up a Life event at Mountbatten Isle of Wight on Sunday, 7 December at 4pm.

Brian Rayner, who is dedicating lights in memory of his wife and daughter — both cared for by Mountbatten’s teams — shared:

“After my daughter, Nikki, and then my wife, Jan, died, I was in a very dark place. It was Mountbatten’s bereavement support that got me back on my feet and helped me feel less lonely.

“That’s why, this Christmas, I’m dedicating a light on Mountbatten’s remembrance tree to my Nikki and Jan, and donating to give back to the charity that has given me and my family so much love and care.”
