A huge thank you to 1st Carisbrooke Guides, who have been helping us plant up a beautiful giftscores of bedding plants donated by from students on the Isle of Wight College's horticulture course.

For the fourth year running, Isle of Wight Girl Guiding members joined us to help ensure our award-winning garden continues to look blooming gorgeous, as we head towards the Summer.

The Girl Guides were also treated to an educational evening at the college, where they were taught about plant care and how to start-off seeds.

This is the fourth year the Guides have helped with planting our hospice garden, which is already looking pretty spectacular, thanks to our team of volunteer gardeners.

We invite you to pop by and see it look even more incredible, when these new plants mature.

Plants were donated to Mountbatten Isle of Wight by the Isle of Wight College and some were hand-grown by students from the college's horticulture course.

Earlier in the day, the plants were delivered to Halberry Lane by college staff Catrina Richardson and Stefan Barber.

Thank you growers and planters for all your hard work!
