Mountbatten Isle of Wight provides compassionate bereavement support for children, young people, and families who have experienced the death of a loved one, regardless of age or circumstances. In partnership with KissyPuppy — the Sophie Rolf Trust, we ensure that families are well-supported throughout their grief journey.

  • Grief groups: Our groups offer a safe, supportive space for children, young people, and families to express their feelings, connect with others, and share memories of their loved one.
    • Parents/carers group: A space for parents and carers to support each other.
    • Young people’s group (13-18): Emotional and social support for teens coping with grief.
    • Children’s days: Creative activities for children to express grief, with support for parents and carers.
