At Mountbatten Isle of Wight, we provide personalised care for you in the comfort of your own home through our dedicated Mountbatten at Home team. Depending on your needs, you’ll receive support from a compassionate team of experts, each with a specific role in ensuring your comfort and well-being.

Who is Mountbatten Isle of Wight's care at home team?

  • Mountbatten nurses
Our experienced nurses are often the first people you’ll meet. They specialise in supporting individuals in the last years of life, addressing physical, emotional, and practical care needs. You’ll typically have a dedicated Mountbatten Nurse but may occasionally see other members of the nursing team.

  • 24/7 advice line
Both you and your family can access our advice and support line anytime by calling 01983 533331. Whether you need guidance or reassurance, we’re just a phone call away—no need to rely on 111. By choosing our helpline instead of 111, you’ll receive personalised care that can help you avoid unnecessary hospital visits. In an emergency, you should still call 999 or 111.

  • Mountbatten carers
For help with personal care, such as washing, repositioning, or continence needs, our carers provide sensitive, practical support. They can also offer respite for your loved ones by sitting with you overnight or for a few hours during the day.

  • Specialist support team
Your care goes beyond physical health. Our at-home team includes counsellors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, spiritual care practitioners, and complementary and arts therapists. They are here to help you and your family navigate the emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges you may face.

Our Mountbatten Isle of Wight teams work together to ensure you receive the highest standard of care, tailored to your needs, and delivered with kindness and understanding.
