Jim Thorn Quartet at Mountbatten Isle of Wight

Hear one of the Island's most-established jazz groups, at the John Cheverton Centre, Mountbatten Isle of Wight, on 3 July.

The Jim Thorn Quartet comprises Jim Thorn on piano, vocalist Loren Thorn, Jon Thorne on double bass and Ken Black on drums.

This versatile group makes a welcome return to Mountbatten Isle of Wight, where they will perform a wide range of music, from 1940s jazz to modern music, including by Norah Jones, Burt Bacharach and A C Jobim. 

Between 7pm and 9pm (with an interval, during which wine and nibbles will be served), expect wonderful musicianship and vocals and plenty of fun, with some unplanned and spontaneous moments.
