If you're packing your bag this afternoon and you're not sure what the weather has in store for Walk the Wight, the forecasters have you covered.

The BBC says we should expect sunshine all day and temperatures will be hottest at Carisbrooke (around 19 Celsius) with highs of between 15-17 Celsius at Bembridge and Freshwater.

The Met Office is also forecasting sunshine, with perhaps some cloud towards the end of the day. It says temperatures may reach as high as 22 Celsius, meanwhile.

Meanwhile, the Isle of Wight Met Service says Sunday will be slightly more mixed, with occasional sunny spells, areas of cloud and even the odd shower, at each end of the day. Temperatures will reach between 17-21°C and there will be a bit of a breeze in places.

As we all know, things can change, so it's best to be prepared for everything.

Pack your sun tan lotion, a hat and some layers, to cover all eventualities and have fun!
