Vanda's most anticipated moment was racing with dogs VIDEO

Vanda is in Sweden, for the Mountbatten Isle of Wight Lapland Husky Trail Challenge, and says she signed up after spotting a call for participants at Christmas.

She explained: “I'm not very brave and I don't like heights. When I saw this come up, I was like, ‘yeah, I fancy doing that.’"

She is travelling with partner, Craig, and the pair are raising vital funds for end-of-life care on the Isle of Wight.

Vanda told us she was most looking forward to racing through the snow with a pack of dogs. That wish came true on Saturday, as the team acclimatised, met their four-legged guides and set out for training session on the sleds.
