The Big Wight Walk reaches the breezy West Wight PHOTOS and VIDEO

The breezy West Wight was described as 'exhilarating' but 'lovely' by The Big Wight Walk team, on Saturday afternoon.

About one third into their 66 mile walk over just 24 hours, in aid of Mountbatten Isle of Wight, Julie, Jane and Theresa hiked from Yarmouth to Freshwater Bay.

They originally started at 7am, outside our hospice. They aim to return to Halberry Lane, Newport at 7am tomorrow (Sunday), after walking through the night.
