A few thanks from the Mountbatten Isle of Wight team to the Isle of Wight Festival's legendary Kashmir Cafe and Platform One Tent!

In between pulling a squillion pints of cherry beer, the Kashmir Cafe team found the time to support Mountbatten Isle of Wight's campaign to fight cuts to our NHS funding.

Health bosses across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have announced they will be cutting £600,000 from our budget this Autumn and £1.4 million in 2026/7.

Our friends at Kashmir Cafe, which raises funds for Quay Arts, helped spread our message by wearing our campaign t-shirts.

A huge thank you too, to Platform One Music College.

When the crowd went mad for our 'sunbrellas' (Are they an umbrella? Are they a parasol? Yes!), Platform One stepped in to offer extra storage at its bright red music tent in the main arena, allowing our volunteer teams to restock quickly.
