Sting stunned the crowds as he headlined Main Stage last night (Friday) at Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival 2025.

He swapped the Fields Of Gold for the fields of Seaclose Park, performing a stunning set filled with hits from his acclaimed catalogue and longstanding career, including Message In A Bottle, Roxanne and latest single, I Wrote Your Name Upon My Heart.

He was last at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2008, when The Police reformed.

Friday saw the opening of the festival’s Main Stage and the first full day of music.

On the Main Stage, Lottery Winners, Amy MacDonald, The Corrs and Faithless also entertained the crowds.

In the Big Top, Crystal Tides, Twin Atlantic and Amble performed fantastic live sets.

Plus, The Lathums, Dean Lewis and chart-topping dance-pop group, Clean Bandit, impressed.
