Meeting the dogs and Saturday's Lapland Husky Trail Challenge itinerary VIDEO So what are our Mountbatten Isle of Wight Lapland Husky Trail challengers up to today (Saturday). They're currently one hour ahead of UK time, so they have been up for a while. They will be learning about their team of Alaskan Husky Sled dogs — the stars of the show, who will be helping the Islanders traverse the snowy wilderness of Swedish Lapland. They will be practising their sledding technique over 16km, before heading back to the Snow Trail Dog Camp, where they spent last night. After a further briefing, they will be treated to dinner over an open fire. Scroll down for video from the Snow Trail Dog Camp... CLICK HERE for the latest in our Lapland Husky Trail blog.
