After a night in Sweden's world famous Ice Hotel, our Lapland Husky Trail Challenge team-mates are heading home today (Friday).

Together with their packs of dogs, pulling their sleds 240km across the frozen Lapland wilderness, they have achieved something incredible.

The group has been raising money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

They will bring back lifetime memories — but sadly not their dogs, as this isn't allowed!

We will keep updating this blog over the next week or so, as we catch up with our team-members and hear more about their experiences, Expect more photos, videos and tales (as well as tails, probably). Keep revisiting and refreshing.

If their adventures have inspired you, we would invite you to sign up to your own challenge, in support of Mountbatten Isle of Wight. CLICK HERE for more.

And please do consider donating. You will find a link below.

In the meantime, scroll down to enjoy pictures of our challengers ice-fishing and gathering water!
