Team Mountbatten, prepare yourselves for a whopping 50km sled across Sweden's snowy wilderness.

It's up and out today (Sunday), after tending to the dogs, and into the wilds of the Arctic Circle.

Our Lapland Husky Trail Challenge participants are heading for an area surrounded by mountains and can expect a full day dog sledding.

This is no mean feat. Don't forget, they only met the dogs for the first time yesterday and some had never controlled a sled before.

Tonight, they'll stay at a wilderness camp close to the National Reservation Area.
