Scroll down for amazing photos from Monday and read an update from Craig...

Yesterday (Monday). Craig told us: "We were up at 7am to feed the dogs and harness up Rayn, Latte, Vap, Ulmo, Boffin and Mio."

He explained the smaller, younger dogs go at the front, with the larger, stronger, older dogs nearest the sleds.

Craig said: "We set off at about 9.45am. The dogs are very eager and hard to control. With two sleds in tandem, the rear sled has a mind of its own. You can get dragged through soft snow or into the bushes, when cornering.

"Once off the trail, you can sink up to your waist in soft snow drifts! The experience is great fun, exhilarating, a bit scary and very tiring. Thankfully, a nice camp with beds in heated huts and a hot stew makes it all better! There’s a sauna here, too!"
