After an incredible and demanding week on the Mountbatten Isle of Wight Lapland Husky Trail Challenge, our team spent their last night on the trail camping under the stars.

Their epic adventure has seen them trek 240km through Sweden's snowy wilderness, on sleds led by packs of husky dogs.

They have travelled up to 60km per day, across frozen tundra and unspoilt plains, all while raising money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight's 24/7 kind and compassionate end-of-life care, 85 per cent of which is delivered in Islanders' homes and the rest through our specialist inpatient unit and day services, via the John Cheverton Centre in Newport.

Mountbatten relies on fundraising, donations, gifts in Wills and income from our network of charity shops to ensure this work continues when and where it is needed, supporting people through 70 per cent of all deaths on the Isle of Wight.

Our challengers have been simply amazing and their support is hugely appreciated. Scroll down for pictures from their campsite and a donation link.
